Created during the pandemic in Toronto, True Theory Spirits was born from a desire to build something real — a Canadian spirits company with deep roots in our community.

With 20 years of industry knowledge and experience, we do what most distilleries won’t: we start from scratch. While others cut corners with neutral grain spirits — industrial-grade alcohol made in factories — we craft every drop in-house using only locally sourced Ontario ingredients.

From the farmers who grow our grains to the final cork on every bottle, we control the entire process. This isn’t just distilling. This is craftsmanship.

Every bottle of True Theory Spirits begins with locally sourced Ontario grain — purchased directly from our farming partners. We mill, mash, ferment, and distill entirely in-house at our Toronto craft distillery.

This is what separates us from the rest. Most distilleries buy neutral grain spirits — industrial alcohol made in factories — and simply add flavoring or filter it. That’s not craft distilling. That’s repackaging.

We believe exceptional spirits aren’t imported or manufactured in bulk. They’re proven — one batch at a time, with care and intention.
