Old Credit Brewing

Our brewery was built in the 1980s to be a facility for Conner’s Brewing. When Conner’s left the facility, Aldo Lista – who had been leasing his building to Conner’s – decided to open his own brewery using the equipment left behind. In 1994, Aldo officially launched Old Credit Brewing.

Aldo collaborated with Brewmaster Orrin Besko to design our Amber Ale, Pale Pilsner, and Holiday Honey. The beers were brewed using a long cold conditioning which they dubbed “Ice Aging” which resulted in a clean, crisp finish across all our brands.

Over thirty years a lot has changed in the brewing industry, but we have remained committed to Aldo’s goal of brewing the best quality beer possible while being an integral part of the story of our community of Port Credit.
