Morandin Wines is home to Sangreal Estate Vineyard, a family-owned vineyard and craft winery that produces small batch estate-grown & bottled wine in the traditional olde world Burgundian style emphasizing vintage year and single varietals, while proudly expressing the unique terroir of single vineyards.

In olde French, Sangreal has two meanings:
Sang Real – Royal Blood in connection with Prince Edward County
San Greal – Holy Grail in the context of Pinot Noir, the Holy Grail of wine

About Us
Christian Morandin’s family comes from the Veneto region of Italy, where the tradition of winemaking has been passed down from one generation to the next.

His wife’s family roots are deeply entrenched in Prince Edward County, beginning with Jacob Wannamaker, her mother’s ancestor born in Rednersville in 1798. After attending her family reunion in Ameliasburg, we decided to move to Prince Edward County.
